Partnership With Allen Lund Company: 500-Carrier Cold Chain Program

Guardian Visibility has partnered with Allen Lund Company (ALC), one of North America's largest produce brokers, to bring real-time cold chain monitoring to their extensive carrier network. The program provides the first 500 ALC carriers with a free device kit and two months of complimentary monitoring service.

Each enrolled trailer receives dual-sensor coverage: a tracker suite mounted at the front of the reefer unit and a door sensor at the rear of the trailer near the air distribution chute outlet. This dual-placement approach provides a complete picture of refrigeration performance — front-of-unit readings confirm reefer output, while rear readings capture the temperature conditions at the cargo level where product actually sits.

The sensors continuously track temperature, humidity, light exposure, and GPS location, transmitting data through cellular networks to Guardian Visibility's monitoring platform. Brokers and shippers on ALC loads get real-time visibility into cargo conditions from pickup to delivery, with automated alerts when temperature excursions threaten product quality.

For carriers, the value proposition is straightforward: free monitoring equipment, no installation cost, and 7.5% revenue share on monitoring fees for every load they run. The platform fee of $10 per month per trailer is waived for carriers running four or more loads or twelve or more active monitoring days per month — which most active ALC carriers easily exceed.

This partnership represents the foundation of Guardian Visibility's network strategy. By starting with one of the industry's most respected produce brokers and their carrier base, we're building a monitoring network on trust, quality, and mutual economic benefit rather than forced adoption.

The onboarding process takes carriers from registration to installed devices in under a week, with guided installation instructions and direct support from the Guardian Visibility team.
